BOO!
︎ Costume Designer / Stylist / MUA

BOO is an episodic show in development with Youtube Originals. The creators Gary Baseman and David Charles enlisted me to design and style a photo shoot of their lead character Elizabeth aka Boo. She is a rebellious punk fashionista teen who created a ghost outfit to hide a dark secret about herself and is also obsessed with Vivienne Westwood.

So I concepted three different phases/outfits to fit her story arc.

The first phase was grief. Hiding oneself from her friends, family and the rest of the world.

The second phase was acceptance. Bringing back a pop of color and some of her punk accessories and attitude.

And finally, the third and most colorful was a celebration. Being comfortable and proud in her own ghost girl outfit and paying tribute, with the plaid, to the characters #1 hero Vivienne Westwood.

I love to use my own self as a canvas,a test lab for the styling and clothing I create for others. It gives me the experience, opens the doors to new ideas and it short cuts my process while working on professional styling projects.

Here are some of my favorite looks. Including my work with others.

Parker Day
︎ Stylist / MUA / Hair

"We are the weirdos, Sir." Artist Parker Day invited me to model, style and do hair and make up on myself for her 100 portrait series, where she focused on shining a beautiful light on the weird in all of us.

Make-up is also another space I like to experiment. From horror glam to futuristic clown, I love to use make up as an art form and an added feature to my styling work.

Rookie Magazine

When I was 16 I styled and modeled for Tavi Gevinson's Rookie Mag. A publication focused on girl power, creativity and self-expression. Below are some stills. Photography by Kaleemah Morse.
